Our company was selected by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services to deliver comprehensive architectural and engineering services, encompassing everything from programming to construction administration. The center consists of two buildings on the grounds of the former National Guard Armory, not far from the college's main campus on the eastern side of Lancaster City.
Spanning approximately 8.4 acres, the project site previously housed several buildings, three of which have been demolished. Now, two new structures, one measuring 45,000 square feet and the other 24,000 square feet, house the Technology Center. This new satellite campus offers state-of-the-art college-level instructional facilities.
The center provides three instructional programs, encompassing technical and trade training in Machine Tool Technology, Metal Fabrication and Welding Technology, and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration. It features laboratories, classrooms, support spaces, as well as site development, landscaping, and parking. The complex also includes administrative spaces for the programs and areas for industry and user exhibitions and presentations.
